When clients first discover our bespoke medical wigs, they often ask: how are they made? The answer lies in a detailed, step by step process rooted in craftsmanship.
Step 1: Consultation
We begin by listening. Every journey starts with understanding your needs, concerns, and goals. We measure your head for an exact fit and discuss base types such as lace front, silk, or monofilament.
Step 2: Hair selection
Unlike wigs made from processed, factory dyed hair, our wigs are built from Russian ponytails. Several ponytails in slightly different shades are selected and blended to create a natural, multi tonal result. This ensures the wig is dye free, soft, and long lasting.
Step 3: Construction
Hair is carefully drawn and hand sewn into the base by our experienced seamstresses. Hand knotting or ventilating ensures each strand lies naturally, mimicking hair growth. Double stitching strengthens the construction while keeping the cap lightweight.
Step 4: Customisation
The wig is fitted, adjusted, and finished with a woven authenticity mark. Final checks are made for symmetry, comfort, and realism. Any refinements are done by hand.
Step 5: Delivery
After 9–12 weeks, your bespoke wig is ready. At the fitting, we ensure it sits perfectly and show you how to care for it at home.
